Summer 2008 Registration Opens Wednesday, May 21st at 1am

ABOUT THE SPORT

Looking for the ideal social sport? Then play Beach Volleyball! The ESSC offers leagues that consist of teams of 4 and teams of 6. Divisions include Recreational, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus and Competitive. We run our games out of Central courts and are looking to pick up new courts for the Summer 2008 season! There are approximately 20 teams playing each night, Sunday through Tuesday - we are looking to expand the number of nights per week we offer Beach Volleyball. For all games, there is an Event Co-ordinate who facilitate the games but also plays in the league. All players are responsible for calling their own fouls and managing the game. There is plenty of opportunity to meet other players on and off the court; try hitting one of our many Sponsor Bars for great ESSC specials after your games!

  WHO CAN PLAY?

Adults aged 18 and older can join the Beach Volleyball leagues. All Volleyball divisions in the ESSC are co-ed and self-officiated. The levels offered for the 6's division includes Recreational which is for newer players and the goal is to simply get the ball over the net, and the Intermediate level, which is for a range of skill levels, the goal here is to get the ball over in three hits. The 4's division is meant for players with a higher level of experience. Please see below for a breakdown of all the levels offered. We welcome full teams, small groups (5 or more players but not a full team), friends (2-4 players) and individual registrations. Small group, friends and individual registrations are combined with other similiar registrants to form a team that remains together for the duration of the season. Click here for more info.
