REGISTRATION DEADLINE NOW IN EFFECT |
| Please take note of the registration deadline of Tuesday, April 13th, 2010. Prior to this deadline, all registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; the closer to Februray 17th that you get your registration in, the better your chances are of making it into the league of your choice. After April 13th, if we require registrants, we will advertise any spots that are available. |

| ESSC
Indoor Soccer is a great way to stay active and get in shape.
This season, work on your eye-foot coordination and have fun
with your friends in one of our Indoor Soccer leagues. After
your game, meet-up with your teammates and other ESSC players
to enjoy exclusive specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars
around Edmonton! |

Who Can Play?
|
| The
ESSC is an adult league only. All player’s must be 18 years
of age, or older, before they participate in any ESSC league
or event. We accept all levels of skill and experience by offering
a wide range of divisions. We welcome full team, small group,
individual and substitute registrations. |

DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS

Division
|
Description |
| Recreational |
This
division is for teams or players that are new to the sport and
have little experience playing soccer. |
| Recreational Plus |
This
division is for teams or players that have some soccer experience
and display better ball control and teamwork then those in the
recreational division. |
| Recreational Plus - Turf |
This
division is for soccer enthusiasts who are looking for more
competition, have good ball control and can put together organized
plays. |
The
above divisions are created based on skill level and not on competitive
behaviour. All SSC players are expected to play with a ‘fun-first, winning
second’ attitude. The SSC may move your team up or down a division based on
seasonal results. |

HOW DO I REGISTER?
|
| All players should register and
pay online using our secure registration process. Registering
online helps ensure you get placed in the league of your choice,
as registrations are accepted on a first come, first served
basis. If you do not have a credit card, you can come to the
office, during regular business hours, to pay by either cash
or debit.

Facility Information
|
Any
team or player who causes the ESSC to receive a complaint from
a facility will be fined $100 and may be removed from the league.

Soccer leagues are played out of public and private facilities
through out the City of Edmonton. Teams should expect to see a different
facility each week. |
Turf |
Turf
Soccer leagues are played out of the Edmonton Soccer Centers. Registration includes Edmonton Soccer Centers Membership Card. |
Equipment
|
All players are required to bring
a light and dark colored shirt to every game. Cleaning, non-marking
soles are required in all gyms. Please see the Rules section
for legal equipment before purchasing your own gear. |

Format/Rosters
|
All
leagues are co-ed. Teams range in size from 9-12 players. Individual
and small group registrants are combined to form full “Singles”
teams that play together for the duration of the season. “Singles”
teams will receive a roster via email 2 days before their first
game. Games are one hour in length which includes a 5 minute
warm-up and 5 minute half time. |
Indoor |
4
players, plus a goalie (5 total players), with at least two
females on the floor at all times. A female goalie does not
count toward your two females on the floor. |
Turf |
5
players, plus a goalie (6 total players), with at least two
females on the floor at all times. A female goalie does not
count toward your two females on the floor. |
Schedules
|
Schedules
will be posted on the website, and emailed to participants,
no later then 2 days prior to their first game. Games will not
be scheduled on long weekend Sundays, but may be scheduled on
long weekend Mondays. |

Calling the Shots
|
All
players are expected to be on time, call their own fouls and
abide by ESSC rules and polices. Each Indoor Soccer and Turf
Soccer game also has an ESSC Games Coordinator (GC) present.
GC’s are responsible for monitoring the game, tracking time,
keeping score and reporting the scores to the ESSC office. They
are not trained referees and will only calls fouls if the teams
are not doing so themselves. |
Additional Information

Players Meetings: The ESSC may or may not, depending on the season, host mandatory Player's Meetings and/or require that new Team Captains and individuals complete an online Player Questionnaire. This will be specified on the registration form. |
Waiver: All players are expected to complete
a waiver prior to playing in any ESSC league or event. One waiver
per player, per season is sufficient. To complete the waiver,
