GENERAL INFORMATION
WHO CAN PLAY?

All players must be 18 years of age or older.
WAIVERS:

All players, including subs, must complete an online waiver prior to playing in any league or event.
OFFICIATING:

All leagues are self-officiated. If you are unable to resolve an issue at the game, questions about rules, policies etc. should be directed to the ESSC office.
REPORTING: Double Opponent: These leagues have Event Coordinators (ECs) who help coordinate leagues by bringing equipment, setting up courts and reporting scores. ECs play for FREE. If you are interested in being an EC, please email info@edmontonsportsclub.com.
Single Opponent: These leagues are coordinated by Team Captains (TCs). TCs must bring equipment, set up courts and report scores to the ESSC.
HOW TO REGISTER:

All registrations can be submitted online. If you are unable to pay via credit card online, you can pay via cash or debit at the ESSC Office.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations must be submitted 2 business days prior to the registration deadline in order to receive a full refund. After this time, no player or team will be eligible for a full or partial refund or credit.
WEATHER POLICY:

Games for indoor sports are never cancelled as a result of poor weather or road conditions.
DEFAULTS:

All players should understand the default policy.
SCHEDULES:

Schedules are posted a minimum of 2 business days before the first game of the season.
GAME TIMES:

Weekday games may have start times ranging from 6:00PM to 10:30PM. Weekend games may start anywhere from 8:00AM to 10:30PM. Games may be played on long weekends. Games will also be scheduled during major sporting events.
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS :

6 players on the court, 2 of which must be female. There is no limit to team roster size.
EQUIPMENT:

Double Opponent: ECs will bring the equipment.
Single Opponent: TCs must put down a deposit and pick up the equipment. Deposits are refunded upon the return of the equipment at the end of the season.
PERMITS: Double Opponent: ECs will bring gym permits.
Single Opponent: Every team must take a permit to their game each week.
PLAYERS MEETINGS: Double Opponent: There are no Players Meetings for Double Opponent leagues.
Single Opponent: For Fall and Winter seasons, new teams and individuals must attend a Players Meeting. To learn more, click here. For Spring and Summer seasons, new teams and individuals must complete a questionnaire.
SCORES: Double Opponent: ECs report the scores to the ESSC.
Single Opponent: One player from each team must report the game score online each week. To learn more, click here.
FACILITIES: All games are played out of public and private facilities throughout Edmonton. Any player or team which causes the ESSC to receive a complaint from a facility will be subject to a $100 fine plus the cost of any damages. To learn more, click here.
