Recreational

Recreational is the only division choice, as Kickball is a relatively new offering by the SSC and is still growing in popularity. Teams that register for this sport may have some skilled players, but the team as a whole is just in it for the fun. If some of the players want to play hard and are quite competitive in nature, it is expected that they let up a bit. This league is for people who have not played kickball since the days of elementary school, or those who have played some kickball in recent years but are not too hardcore. The goal of the pitcher is to get the ball kicked. Teams in this division must have a “fun first” approach to every game. In this division, sportsmanship ratings will have a more direct impact on each team's standings than in higher divisions.
