  ESSC KICKBALL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION DEADLINE NOW IN EFFECT
Please take note of the registration deadline of Tuesday, April 20th, 2010. Prior to this deadline, all registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; the closer to February 17th that you get your registration in, the better your chances are of making it into the league of your choice. After April 20th, if we require registrants, we will advertise any spots that are available.

General Description

Kickball brings a fresh new twist to the adult recreational sports scene in Edmonton. Kickball... yes, just like you played in 5th grade, is a game that closes the age and gender gap, if but a little. This great playground pastime is now back for adults 18 and older to enjoy. Kickball is great for people of all sporting abilities, from the popular school jock, to the kid who gets picked last. We encourage rivalries, cheering and general fun. Kickball combines everything we love about softball with the awesomeness of Dodgeball, what could be better? After your game, enjoy ESSC specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars around Edmonton.

Who Can Play?

The ESSC is an adult league only. All player's must be 18 years of age or older, before they participate in any ESSC league or event. We accept all levels of skills and experience by offering a wide range of divisions. We welcome full team, small group, individual and substitute registrations.

DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS

Division

                                                       Description

Recreational

This league is for those who have not played kickball since the days of elementary school or those who have played some kickball in recent years but are not too hardcore. The goal of the pitcher is to get the ball kicked. Remember, its Kickball, so just have FUN!

The above divisions are created based on skill level and not on competitive behaviour. All SSC players are expected to play with a ‘fun-first, winning second’ attitude. The SSC may move your team up or down a division based on seasonal results.
