Winter 2010 players,

As a member of the Sport and Social Club, you and the rest of your team must abide by the following guidelines:

Facilities

  1. Never prop the doors open at any facility or school without the previous consent of a caretaker.
  2. Only wear non-marking indoor soles (the Coordinator will check your shoes).
    • Dark soles that will mark the floor are NOT allowed.
    • Street shoes are NOT allowed, you must bring an extra pair of clean indoor shoes.
  3. Never drink alcohol on any school or facility property - this includes the parking lot and playground area.
  4. Respect all school staff as if they were your own family. This includes only using the appropriate parking areas. Remember, it is a privilege to use the gyms, not a right.
  5. Never wander the halls or enter any washroom that you do not have permission to use.
    • If you are unclear about which areas you are allowed to enter, please ask the Coordinator (EC or GC) at your gym.
  6. Do not use any equipment or area in a facility or school that is not authorized.
    • Illegal equipment: this includes outdoor soccer balls.
    • Inappropriate or reckless use: this includes playing in the hallway, dunking on the basketball hoops or climbing on a jungle gym.
  7. Always leave the gym before the end of the permit time.
    • Permit times are listed on your schedules and players must be aware of them.

*** Any team or player that causes the SSC to receive a complaint by violating one of the rules listed above will be fined $100.00 and may face ejection from the league. For full details on the Facility Complaint Policy, please click here.
