Lady Bing Winners |

We
have a bit of catching up to do with our weekly Lady
Bing winners, so this week we are offering up a trifecta
of sportsmanship.
Week
1 Winners:
IHOP
We have been playing for the past 2 years. We started
off as a random group of friends wanting to get out
and play volleyball for fun. Now our team has blossomed
into a semi-competitive team that still enjoys a good
playful match every week!
Week
2 Winners:
The Specials
We started out as a singles team about 4 years ago
(when the club was just getting started) and we've
been together ever since. We've even branched out
into volleyball, so we can play together year round.
While winning is fun, that's totally not what we're
about: it's fun first. Just being nominated is such
a joy for us. It means we're making it fun for someone
else, too. Thank you!
Week
3 Winners:
Walleyballer's
The Walleyballer’s started out as the UFO’s
for the spring season of Ultimate with the ESSC. As
a single’s team, the majority of us did not
know each other. Part of the UFO’s got together
and created a new team for the summer league of Ultimate,
thereafter known as Disc Jockey’s. Since we
have alot of fun together and want to keep going out
and playing and meeting new people we formed a team
for the fall Volleyball season, and that’s where
Walleyballer’s comes in. We have gathered in
some more people that we know with the love of the
game and are here to have fun! We lost one of our
girl teammates to an Ultimate injury. We’ll
see what the winter season brings. Looking forward
to playing new teams in the B division and going out
for some socializing afterwards!!

current office for the next 2+ years at an
incredible rate.

The Winter season will get underway January 2009
and we will be offering 9 week seasons of Badminton,
Basketball, Dodgeball, Floor Hockey, Indoor Soccer
and Indoor Volleyball. Don't wait to register

Get
to Know a GC |
 |
Nelson
is a new GC with the ESSC, and is currently learning
Floor Hockey, Dodgeball, and Soccer. He is an
Architectural Technologist with Stantec and speaks
|
Portuguese
and Spanish. In his spare time, Nelson is in to Soccer,
Hockey, Biking and the art of “Lounging”.
He has also been a long time player on the Wednesday
Rec Plus Stantec Stingers.
