6 Winner - De-Commissioners We are a corporate team
that decided to get out there and prove to the rest of the
office that dodgeball is a fun sport and not a scary one!
This is our second season playing dodgeball and we look forward
to many more seasons. The team enjoys the challenges thrown
at them including the instances where we are short players,
but we never give up, we just keep trying to dodge those balls.

Week
5 Winner - Sex Panthers
We know what you’re thinking: whoa, that’s
a lot of people for one dodgeball team. Unfortunately, many
of our team members have careers that often take them out
of the city. Our team is mostly made up of former schoolmates
from the Environmental and Conservation Sciences program at
the U of A, their close friends, and family members.
We joined the league so we would have a night to hang out
and do something fun together. So dodgeball it was! After
that, it was full out dedication. We made up our snazzy shirts
and cheers and thus were ready to…1, 2, 3, DODGEBALL.
This was the first time playing with ESSC for all of us and
we have had an awesome time. Hopefully by the end of the season
our fun spirit will pay off with our first win ?

Week
4 Winner - S.O.B.s
The S.O.B.'s (formally known as Ballas) have been playing
in the ESSC for about a year now. The team is made up of friends
who have known each other for many years and close family.
Nearly every one on the team is related to someone else. We
all enjoy playing with this league for the skills we learn,
the laughs we have, and the chance to meet and play some really
fun teams. |

Week
3 Winner - F.F.F.B.F.
Formerly known as the Fantastic Flinging Furry Balls of
Fury, a ragtag group assembled due to their love of throwing
things at people. Before forming in late 2008 F.F.F.B.F.
had
used random street corners and pastry shops to enjoy the
sport of throwing things at people, to avoid the angry pastry
chefs and their rock hard croissants that they inevitably
threw it was decided to join the ESSC dodgeball league.
The rest is history. |

Week
2 Winner - SW Dodgers
After honing their skills in Really Rec for several
seasons the SW Dodgers made the leap of faith into the Rec
division this season. The result was a 4-0 start and a Lady
Bing nomination.
