 There are a wide range of positions available this Spring and the ESSC is looking for reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to help us build the strongest team the Club has ever seen.

Marketing Manager: This is an exciting full-time career opportunity. The ESSC is Edmonton’s largest recreational sport and social organization and we are looking for someone to grow, manage and maintain our special events and Marketing program.

Sports Admin & Player Liaison: This is an ideal job for someone who is attempting to start a career in the sport industry. This is an entry level position where the candidate will be involved in many essential areas of the Club. The focus will be administrative tasks (database entry, processing scores, updating standings), equipment distribution, managing league registrations, customer service and assisting our management team on various projects. The successful applicant will also play a large roll in resolving sportsmanship issues and ‘liaisoning’ with the players on a daily basis.

Field Scout & GC Advisor: This is an ideal job for a student who is taking the summer off and looking for a fun, active summer job, or for someone who is attempting to start a career in the sport industry. If you enjoy working with your hands, outdoors and without constant supervision then this is a job for you. The successful applicant will also directly assist the League Operations Manager with the management of the Games Coordinator (GC) program.

 Games Coordinators: The ESSC is looking for self-motivated and assertive individuals to join our team. The position involves overseeing the games at a gym, setting-up equipment, meeting team captains, monitoring the action by calling plays or penalties as required and submitting a report to the ESSC office. This is an active job and there are all types of shifts available.

  ESSC Fitness Class Instructors: This spring, in addition to Boot Camp, the ESSC is launching two new Fitness Classes: X-Terraining – outdoor running through the River Valley and Body Balance – an indoor, all over body workout in a group setting. Do you have what it takes to lead a group of dedicated participants through a grueling outdoor Boot Camp work out? Or are you an avid runner and would prefer to tour a running/walking group through the trails of The City?  Promo Teamsters: You're spunky, you're fun and you get the job done! You have specific interest in promotions and have strong people skills. You enjoy a fun working environment and working in teams.  Event Coordinators: If you play Volleyball, Badminton, Ultimate or Flag Football, this may be the job for you! EC’s are players who represent the club on the night that you play. In return, we allow you to play for free! EC’s are responsible for arriving early to setup and bring equipment, reading announcements, recording all scores and submitting them online. There is a formal training session for all EC’s before the season starts and they are expected to play with honour and great sportsmanship.
