The Donkey Paws are a collection of v-ball players who have known each other, through 6-degrees of Kevin Bacon, for several years now. Our name was given to us by our best player, who has never graced the court with his presence.

Week 2 Winners

There are quite a few dodgy characters in this pack. Meow and then, we like to get together and have a couple Scooby snacks and some glasses of… warm milk. Something about having cat and dog nicknames really allows us to express ourselves in ways we never thought pawsible. We all just want to get out there and play; I guess you could say we haven’t learned to sit yet.

Week 3 Winners
Discy Business - Ultimate |
Not only are they a team, but they are legends in the making. Passion for Frisbee brought them together; their love of going to Hudsons on Tuesday nights made them friends. The team started off with 7 girls and 2 guys taking on the world. The first week started off rocky with only a hand full of players able to attend, and even fewer players able to throw the disc but that did not stop Discy Business. They fought through the adversity of playing an established team and surprised themselves and everyone else along the way. Their positive mental attitude and willingness to put themselves out there and take risks, shines through the wind and the cold and the Discy Business always leave the pitch with a smile.
Discy Business might not be the best team on the field; however, their willingness to lay it all on the line not only makes them the most sportsman-like team on the pitch, but shows they are truly champions in the making.

Our team all works at the cheesecake cafe, which is why we picked the
name Cheeseballs. We played dodgeball last season but thought we'd try
softball for spring. |

Edmonton has claimed another victory in the Battle of Alberta beating Calgary in the 4th Dodgeball Matchup in the series. The Battle of Alberta score is now 5:4 for Calgary, but Edmonton is coming on strong!
