5 Reasons Why You Should Sign Up Before the Deadline
Spring League Registration is open! Sooo what are you waiting for?!
Please take note of both the Indoor and Outdoor registration deadlines (Click Here). Prior to each deadline, leagues will sell out on a first-come, first-served basis. Here are some reasons why you shouldn’t wait until the deadline to register:
5. If you miss out, you may be forced to sit at home and watch re-runs of Housewives of Orange County.
4. If you miss out, you won’t have a chance to participate in our Sleeman Beer league Contest.
3. Your teammates will never speak to you again.
2. On average, over one hundred registrants (that signed up prior to the deadline) do not get into the league of their choice. Many were unable to play or had to switch nights and/or divisions.

Beach Dodgeball - With over 160 dodgeball teams in the ESSC the time has finally come to take it to the next level - Beach Dodgeball. It is everything that you like about dodgeball, but with fresh air and the opportunity to work on your tan while playing. We are offering leagues on Sundays and Tuesdays this Spring, so check it out!
Badminton Club - Having trouble finding a partner to put in a Badminton team? Badminton club is the answer. Badminton Club is essentially a 9 week drop-in program for individuals who are just looking to play and meet people.

Manager of League Operations - This is an exciting full-time career opportunity. The ESSC is Edmonton’s largest provider of adult recreational sports leagues, tournaments and events. The Manager of League Operations will have a significant impact on the success of our programs. This position will be challenging but very rewarding; only highly motivated people should apply. The three primary areas of focus will be: Games Coordinators, Facilities and League Operations. read more
Sports Administrator - This is an entry level position involving many areas of The Club. The successful candidate will focus on administrative tasks (database management, updating standings, customer service, etc.), while also assisting our management team on various projects (special events, facility management etc). read more.

Not to ruin the party, but if you have a fitness goal in mind, you may want to rethink your green beer intake (one or two won’t kill you, but don’t make a day out of it). Think calories, calories, calories!

Whether you want to tone-up, lose weight, be stronger or improve your overall health and wellness, GET RESULTS with the ESSC Indoor Boot Camp. Our certified trainers will motivate and push individuals with various skill levels to achieve their own personal fitness goals. Classes begin the week of March 14 and will run for 6 weeks. Sign up for classes on Monday / Wednesday morning at 6:15 am at Kinsmen and/or Monday / Wednesday / Thursday nights between 6:30pm and 7:30pm, location to be determined.

Battle of Alberta XIII - Indoor Volleyball

Join us for the 3rd ever indoor Volleyball Battle of Alberta, as Edmonton teams face off against Calgary. The Oilers might not beat the Flames this season, but that doesn't mean the ESSC can't beat the CSSC! An opportunity like this only comes around once a year.

The ESSC had a draw for free league play and any Team Captain that signed up in the first week of Spring Registration was eligible. Close to 150 teams signed up! Congratulations to Todd for signing-up his Thursday 3 on 3 Hockey team. He won back his entire team registration cost!
