Beach Dodgeball - With over 160 dodgeball teams in the ESSC, the time has finally come to take it to the next level - Beach Dodgeball. It is everything that you like about dodgeball, but with fresh air and the opportunity to work on your tan while playing. We are offering leagues on Sundays, so check it out! Jumpsuits: Every so often, one-piece styles of clothing have a revival in the form of jumpsuits, playsuits and rompers. It's not for everyone but if you can pull it off, take advantage of it this Summer. Boyfriend blazers: Wear a slightly oversized jacket or blazer with the sleeves rolled up to pull off a relaxed, cool look. Cut-Away Swimwear: This is both sexy and sophisticated. Watch out for those tan lines! Yoga Clothing: Get noticed in clothing that is as comfortable as wearing pajamas! Yoga pants can turn a 7/10 bum into a perfect 10. This trend is seen on the streets as often as it’s worn for actual yoga class!

Sleeman Beer League

Sleeman Beer League All ESSC teams are invited to join our FREE 'Beer League'. Simply register online, save all of your team's Sleeman receipts this season (from the bar or liquor store), submit your running total each week and see how you stack up against the competition in the online standings.

ESSC Adopts a Block!

---

The ESSC, in cahoots with Capital City Clean Up, has adopted a section of the Malmo area. The Malmo block we are cleaning runs along 48 Ave and 115 street, Whitemud and 116 street. The Adopt a Block program goes on for 20 weeks, May to September.  Within this time period we will be recording volunteer hours as well as how many bags we have collected.The ESSC clean-up team will go out once a week; if you want to become a part of our team, please email amanda@edmontonsportsclub.com.

We are now 5 weeks into our Spring season, so that means you have 4 more weeks to submit your nominations for the most sportsmanlike team. Simply nominate a team who you thought went above and beyond to be sportsmanlike and they will be entered into a weekly draw for a $100 Hudsons gift certificate. All 9 weekly winners will then qualify for the grand prize - Team jerseys and ESSC gift certificates.
