You Are What You Eat!
We all know that fast food isn’t good for us (c’mon, we know you saw ‘Supersize Me’), yet we still crave the grease. It can be especially tough when you have to go play sports and don’t have time to cook, or after your games when you’re hungry and just want something quick and cheap!
Many people justify eating unhealthy foods by reminding themselves that they are active and participate in the ESSC. Remember, the ESSC is awesome (!!!) and a great way to maintain an active lifestyle, but exercise is only part of the equation.
Although you may not enjoy eating healthy (at least all of the time), getting exercise can be a whole lot of fun! The ESSC Summer League Registration is now open! Don’t wait until the deadline (July 6) to sign up because our leagues will sell out on a first-come, first-served basis. The Beer league asks: Which team can drink the most? FREE registration could get you:

The ESSC has been quite busy cleaning up our adopted block in the Malmo area. The Malmo block we are cleaning runs along 48 Ave and 115 street, Whitemud and 116 street. Here are the top three "Finds" from last week:

Disco Inferno
Disco Inferno started as an individuals team in the spring of 2008 under the name of Discography. Four original members decided to continue playing as Disco Inferno in the spring of 2009. Since forming, the team has played spring, summer and fall ulitmate seasons, and numerous friends have been added to the roster.
Progwarians
Our slopitch team is based out of our office in St. Albert. We are all employees or spouses of employees of Progressive Home Warranty Solutions Inc, and our company prides itself on the relationships we have between co-workers. After playing in the Edmonton Home Builders Association slo-pitch tournament last summer (and having and absolute blast, while sometimes not playing the best ball...) it was decided that slo-pitch should become a weekly activity for our staff.
