GENERAL INFORMATION
WHO CAN PLAY?

All players must be 18 years of age or older.
WAIVERS:

All players, including subs, must complete an online waiver prior to playing in any league or event.
OFFICIATING:

All leagues are self-officiated.
GAMES COORDINATORS: GC'd Leagues: A Games Coordinators (GCs) will be present at each game. GCs are not refs, they help coordinate the night by keeping time, keeping score and reporting scores to the ESSC. In the event a GC is not in attendance, teams are expected to play and report scores to the ESSC the following day via phone or email.
HOW TO REGISTER:

All registrations can be submitted online. If you are unable to pay via credit card online, you can pay via cash or debit at the ESSC Office.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations must be submitted 2 business days prior to the registration deadline in order to receive a full refund. After this time, no player or team will be eligible for a full or partial refund or credit.
WEATHER POLICY:

For outdoor sports, all players should be familiar with the weather policy.
DEFAULTS:

All players should understand the default policy.
SCHEDULES:

Schedules are posted a minimum of 2 business days before the first game of the season.
GAME TIMES:

GC'd leagues: Games will start between 12:00PM and 6:00PM.
Non-GC'd leagues: Weekday games may have start times ranging from 6:00PM to 8:30PM. Weekend games may start anywhere from 12:00PM to 8:30PM.
Games may be played on long weekends. Games will also be scheduled during major sporting events.
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS:

5 players on the field (2 of which must be female) plus a goalie (male or female). There is no limit to team roster size.
EQUIPMENT:

GC'd leagues: The GC will bring the equipment each week.
Non-GC'd leagues: The ESSC supplies equipment to each team for a refundable deposit. To learn more, click here.
PERMITS: GC'd leagues: The GC will have the permit.
Non-GC'd leagues: Every team must take a permit to their game each week.
PLAYER MEETINGS: All new teams and individuals must attend a Players Meeting for the Spring and Summer seasons. To learn more, click here.
SCORES: GC'd leagues: The GC will report the scores to the ESSC.
Non-GC'd leagus: One player from each team must report the game score online each week. To learn more, click here.
FACILITIES: All games are played on smaller adult soccer fields located througout the City of Edmonton. Any player or team which causes the ESSC to receive a complaint from a facility will be subject to a $100 fine plus the cost of any damages. To learn more, click here.
