SUMMER 2008 SCHEDULE
SUNDAY SOCCER
Recreational B Division

NOTE ON SETTING UP FIELDS: EACH SOCCER TEAM SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED 8 ORANGE MARKERS FROM THE ESSC. AT THE FIELD, EACH CAPTAIN LINES ONE SIDE AND ONE END ZONE USING HIS/HER MARKERS. THE FIELD SHOULD BE 40 YARDS WIDE (OR 20 PACES) FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE GOAL TO THE SIDELINE. FIELDS CAN BE MARKED LESS THAN 40 YARDS WIDE IF THERE ARE OBSTACLES.

PLAYERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES: OUR SOCCER FIELDS HAVE BEEN RENTED THROUGH THE CITY OF EDMONTON, PARKS & REC. THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REMOVE ANY FIELD FROM OUR USE IF NEIGHBOURS COMPLAIN ABOUT PLAYER ETIQUETTE. ESSC PLAYERS MUST NOT USE THE FIELDS AS A ‘BATHROOM’ AND MUST BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL NEIGHBOURS WHO APPROACH WITH CONCERNS. PLAYERS CAUGHT DRINKING ON THE FIELD MAY BE SUBJECT TO A $250 FINE. ANY TEAMS RESPONSIBLE FOR A MAJOR COMPLAINT AND/OR THE LOSS OF A FIELD WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE. PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Playoff times and locations will be decided after completion of the regular season.  Please check the website for final standings and playoff schedules.

All teams will qualify for 2 playoff games, tentatively scheduled to be played on August 24 and September 7, 2008.  No games will be played on August 31 due to Labour Day weekend.
