Slo-Pitch Tournament in the beautiful Sylvan Lake? There’s nothing wrong with this pitcher.
The Sylvan Lake Slo-Pitch Tournament is the newest addition to the Battle of Alberta (BOA) tournament series. This annual ball tournament is a great way to enjoy the last warm days of the year and finish off the Slo-Pitch season. The tournament runs Saturday and Sunday in September, with a party on Saturday night.
Beer gardens will be running at the venue all day long so that teams can enjoy a few beverages in between games, music will be pumping, and there will be a Home Run Derby for both men and women to compete in for a grand prize.
Teams will play 3 round robin games and are guaranteed at least one playoff game on Sunday. The pride of Edmonton is on the line as every time a team wins a match against a team from Calgary, they will earn points towards becoming the BOA Champions.
The competition continues at the After-Party as players compete in pub games to earn additional points for their city. Once the dust has settled, a winner will be crowned and bragging rights will be issued.
