ESSC Culture

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Join our hard-working office team and help us run successful leagues year-round. This is a full-time position where the candidate will be involved in many areas of the Club. The main focuses will be the Staff Management, League Operations, and Special Projects. The Manager of League Operations (MLO) will have a significant impact on our players’ experiences, will be an essential part of ensuring that our in-office staff are performing to the best of their abilities and will contribute to the development of the Club for years to come.

Staff Management:
• Hire, train and manage the administrative support team
• Work closely with the admin team to ensure goals and objectives are being met
• Provide training and support to the team as required
• Coordinate team goals and allocation of staff resources
• Role model excellent customer service for all office staff
• Help plan and lead weekly league and staff meetings
• Approve and submit payroll

League Operations:
• Plan and implement league dates, season durations and sport offerings each season
• Research and develop new league offerings with Marketing and Operations Management team
• Manage fast-paced season start-ups four times per year
• Oversee the day-to-day Club operations to ensure that they are completed efficiently

Business Development & Office Management:
• Be a driving force for policy improvements and change
• Work alongside management team on high-impact initiatives
• Help plan and facilitate staff team building meetings and trips
• Manage office and system upgrades including: office improvements, phone system, general IT
• Assist in planning and presenting skill development sessions (internal and external)
• Manage all revenues, refunds and bank deposits

Experience:
• University degree
• Previous leadership experience in an office environment
• High level of computer competence

• Good Communicator: written and oral
• Ability to work under deadline pressures
• Willing to work hard: full-time days and some evenings throughout the year

Compensation Package

Salary:
• $64,000 inclusive of salary, bonuses, overtime pay and benefits
• Quarterly bonuses based on team goals
• Regular performance evaluations facilitate growth in responsibilities and compensation
