As the Spring season quickly approaches, we hope your team is thinking about what to play next!
If you’ve played Multi-Sport before in the Spring/Summer, you may know that in previous years the Games Coordinators (GCs) wouldn’t be at most of the outdoor games. This meant teams would need to record and report scores themselves, as well as answer any questions or simmer any issues.
We are always trying to find new ways to help out our players, and starting in Spring 2018 we will now have Games Coordinators at all games: indoors and out!
Below are some common excuses to not register for Spring/Summer Multi-Sport:
- I feel uneasy about not having the GC there to help with any issues.
- I can never remember to report the score and don’t want to worry about it.
- I understand the rules, but what if I have questions at the games?
All this and more will be solved by having the GC present! Check out our list below for perks of having a GC at the games:
- Teams will have help if they are unsure of any rules.
- GCs will keep time and report scores.
- GCs will assist in setting up the fields.
- Teams will have support in case of any conflict.
Teams will still be required to bring their equipment pack for most of the outdoor games. However, we hope by having SSC representation at every game it will help further the fun-first environment and ease the responsibility for teams.
