Each season the ESSC will be recognizing multiple players and teams from within our Stats Leagues. This season we are recognizing players from the Wednesday Rec 4v4 Draft League.

The holy grail of all awards, this trophy is awarded to the Playoff Champion of the Wednesday Rec Draft League.

Norris Details
Winner: Glenn V - Pylons
  

This award is given to the Top Defender in the league. The winner of the Norris Award must exhibit exceptional defensive skills, and hustle. These players generally do not score the most goals, but largely contribute to the prevention of opposing goals.  To win this award, players are nominated by the captains and GCs.

Art Ross Details
Winner: Connor M - Pigeons

This award is given to the player who has accumulated the most points throughout the season. The winner of the Art Ross award exhibits exceptional offensive skills, and mad dangles.Player stats are calculated by the GCs each game, and up to date stat leaders are displayed on the website.

Rocket Richard Details
Winner: Chris B - Pylons
  

This award is given to the player who has accumulated the most goals throughout the season. The winner of the Rocket Richard award is a true sniper, who has fine-tuned their shooting skills. Player stats are calculated by the GCs each game, and up to date stat leaders are displayed on the website.

Vezina Details
Winner: Andrew K - Pylons
  

This award is given to the league's Top Goalie. The winner of the Vezina award exhibits an exceptional pad-stack and poke-check, and has a strong combination of Wins and a low GAA. Goalie stats are calculated by the GCs each game, and up to date stat leaders are displayed on the website.

The "Datsyuk" Details
Winner: Patrick M - Plugs
  

This award is given to the league's Most Sportsmanlike player. The winner of the "Datsyuk" award must exhibit exceptional sportsmanlike qualities throughout the season, team spirit, and a positive attitude regardless of the games outcome. These players help to contribute to team moral and the overall fun-first atmosphere of the ESSC.  To win this award, players are nominated by the captains and GCs.

Winner: Ryan M - Pigeons
  

This award is given to the league's Playoff MVP. The winner of the Conn Smythe award must exhibit exceptional leadership and sportsmanship, and also play a key role in the team's overall playoff success. To win this award, players are nominated by the League and GCs.
