Players should not attend classes if the any of the following is true:

  • Feeling ill and/or experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat
  • Experienced any of the above symptoms in the last 10 days
  • Within the last 14 days you have returned home from travel or been in contact with someone who has traveled outside of Canada and tested positive for COVID-19

Personal Protection

  • Players should wash hands prior to heading out to class and again as soon as possible following class
  • The use of individual antibacterial hand sanitizer is recommended
  • The use of a mask is recommended
  • Bring your own water bottle and do not share with others
  • A sweat towel is recommended to help avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your hands
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or into your elbow when coughing or sneezing
  • Do not spit 
  • While we want you to encourage your fellow fitness class mates, please do not high-five them and ensure you are always respecting their personal space

 

Class Set-Up

  • Participants should bring their own yoga mat if doing ground exercises on the gym flooor is undesirable
  • Stations will be marked and set-up to maintain appropriate social distancing
    • Individual ground stations will be spaced with a minimum of 6 feet between each other
    • Trainers will remind and enforce social distancing in group activities not being performed at your individual station
  • There will be no communally handled equipment
  • When arriving for class, please arrive a maximum of 15 minutes early
    • Upon arrival, find a spot and get yourself set-up
