• This is a Really Recreational event
• No previous experience or skill is required; the day is all about fun!

All Skill Levels

Recreational

• Teams have some inexperienced players
• Players aren't as skilled at batting, base running, fielding or pitching
• Most players do not have designated positions and will switch out often.

Recreational Plus

• Players have some experience playing Slo-Pitch, and/or have had success at the Recreational level
• Some players can hit and throw with accuracy and force
• Some players will have designated positions
• Players are looking for more of a challenge than at the Recreational level.

Recreational

• Teams in this division usually have players that are learning the basic fundamentals of Volleyball and most teams prioritize a "fun-first" mentality
• Players generally do not have specific positions
• The focus is often on just getting the ball over the net
• Underhand serves are common
• NO hard spiking is permitted

Recreational Plus

• Teams in this division usually have a mix of semi-experienced and beginner type players, and/or have had success at the Recreational levels
• Most teams prioritize a "fun-first" mentality
• Teams will execute 3 hits more often than at the Recreational level
• Underhand and overhand serves are common
• NO hard spiking is permitted

Intermediate

• Teams in this division usually have some experienced volleyball players, and/or have had success at the Recreational Plus level
• Typically the ball is contacted 3 times before being hit over the net
• Blocking is more common than at the Recreational levels
• The majority of players serve overhand
• Hard spiking is permitted in a controlled manner

Intermediate Plus

• Teams in this division usually have all experienced players, and/or have had success at the Intermediate level
• Teams have the option of incorporating a Libero
• Organized attacks and blocks are common, including back-row attacks
• Jump-serves are permitted
• Hard spiking is permitted

Competitive

• Teams in this division usually have experienced former University or Collegiate players, and/or have had success at the Intermediate levels
• Teams have the option of incorporating a Libero
• Organized attacks and blocks are common, including back-row attacks
• Jump-serves are permitted
• Hard spiking is frequent
