Sylvan Lake Slo-Pitch Tournament

Due to the popularity of the Sylvan Lake Beach Volleyball Tournament, the SSC is offerings the 1st Annual Battle of Alberta Slo-Pitch event. Teams are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is expected to sell out fast, so register today to reserve your spot!

Date: September 17 and 18

Price: $270 per team, $35 per individual.

Divisions:
Traditional (pitch to opposing team): Recreational, Recreational Plus and Intermediate

Locations: Teams will play at Four Seasons Park (with a chance of playing at another nearby diamond) in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. There is a Molson Beer Gardens on site.

Times: Official times  will be sent to you prior to the event but expect games to begin as early as 8:00am and ending as late as 9pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Format: 3 round robin games guaranteed on Saturday with the chance of playing 2 playoff games on Sunday. There will be a Home Run Derby on Sunday (all teams welcome). The winner will receive prizing and points awarded to their city.

Battle of Alberta (BOA): Teams from Calgary and Edmonton will battle for provincial domination in the 20th Battle of Alberta series. The current score is Calgary: 9 and Edmonton: 9. Please note that there will also be team champions awarded for each division.

Accommodations: Many teams will stay overnight and everyone is responsible for booking their own hotel room(s) or campsite(s).
