
The ESSC typically hosts one Battle of Alberta Slo-Pitch Tournament each year. Due to facility constraints, we will not be hosting in 2023 - we'll see you in 2024!
What is a Battle of Alberta (BOA) Tournament: 12 teams from Edmonton and 12 teams from Calgary will battle for provincial domination at this very popular event.
Facility: TBA
Divisions: Recreational and Recreational Plus
Approx. Times:
- Saturday: 8:00am to 9:00pm
- Sunday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- The schedule will be sent to teams no later than 5:00pm on Thursday the week of the event
Format/Roster:
- Guaranteed 4 games; 2-3 on Saturday and at least 1 on Sunday
- Playoffs are single elimination
- Teams are required to have 10 players (minimum 3 females)
- All participants must be 18+ years old
Party:
- There is an on-site beer gardens with cold brews, music, food trucks, yard games and more!
- After the round robin on Saturday, there will be a party where players can enjoy exclusive food and drink specials, enter to win door prizes, and compete in pub games to earn additional points for their city.
Post-Tournament: Stick around for championship shirt and MVP medal presentations immediately following the tournament.
