
The ESSC hosts 4 Indoor Volleyball Tournaments each year in the City of Edmonton. Stay tuned for details on 2021 tournaments!
Why You Should Play: There are multiple divisions to choose from, so whether teams are experienced or new to the sport, it's sure to be a good time! Plus, we'll have some snacks and swag to give-away, as well as free drink coupons to be used at the post-tournament hangout.
Facilities: Various gyms in Edmonton. Your team will be designated a gym and you are not required to travel between locations.
Divisions: Recreational, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus, Competitive
Approx. Times:
- 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Official times will be sent to teams no later than 5:00pm on Thurs
Format/Roster:
- Guaranteed 4 matches
- Playoffs are single elimination
- Co-ed 6's (minimum of 2 females)
- All participants must be 18+ years old
Post-Tournament: Championship teams will be awarded with championship t-shirts, and MVP's will receive medals immediately following the tournament at a nearby Sponsor Bar

Want to Play for Free? The ESSC depends on volunteers called Event Coordinators (ECs) to help facilitate Indoor Volleyball Tournaments. The ECs are responsible for picking up and setting up the equipment, sharing pre-tournament announcements, and completing standings prior to playoffs. Volunteering is easy and as a thank you, we'll refund you your registration cost so that you get to play for free! To volunteer, simply check off the 'I want to EC' option on the registration form or email Tiona at tiona@edmontonsportsclub.com

ANNUAL BATTLE OF ALBERTA INDOOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
What is a Battle of Alberta (BOA) Tournament: Teams from Edmonton and Calgary will battle for provincial domination at this very popular Sport & Social Club event.
Why You Should Play: Enjoy a day of Indoor Volleyball at one of Red Deer's top private facilities or best High School gyms. There are multiple divisions to choose from, so whether teams are experienced or new to the sport, it's sure to be a good time. Plus, we'll have some snacks and swag to give-away.

- Collicut Centre (3031 30 Ave)

- The "battle" continues at the bar! There will be an official After-Party where all championship teams will be awarded with championship t-shirts, and MVP's will receive their medals.
- Enjoy exclusive food and drink specials, enter to win door prizes, and compete in pub games to earn additional points for their city.
- Many teams book a hotel and make a weekend of it!
