Divisions are based on the experience and skills of a team - not on their competitive behaviour! No matter what skill level you register for, all players are expected to play with a 'fun-first, winning-second' attitude.
Please note that the below divisions may not be offered every season or day. If you have any questions about the different skill levels or where to place yourself, just call us!
This division is for players and teams who are brand-new or relatively new to the sport. If more than a couple of players on the team are experienced, the team should move to a higher level.
This division is for teams who are newer to the sport, or teams that consist of a mix of experienced and inexperienced players. Some players may still be learning the rules of Basketball, meaning the flow of the game will not always be natural. If the majority of players are experienced and skilled, then the team should move up to a higher level if available.
This division is for teams with mainly experienced Basketball players. The flow of the game will be quicker than the Recreational division as there will be fewer stoppages and rule clarifications. Players can shoot, dribble and pass with accuracy, and the team is looking for more of a challenge than the Recreational level. Not all players in this division are highly skilled, but players are experienced and knowledgeable in the sport.
