Learn to Volley with the Pro’s!
If you’ve always want to finesse your bump, set, spike action, but can never get past the ‘bump,’ we got you. We’ve teamed up with the professionals over at Legacy Athletics to bring you our “Learn to Volley” program. Over 6-weeks, you’ll learn the ins and outs of the game and get to play in a few for-fun scrimmages to test out what you’ve learned.
This program is open to All Skill Levels. The coaches will conduct skill assessments at the beginning of the program to decide which group participants will be best fit for, to ensure they are getting the most out of their development.
Participants will attend once a week for 6 weeks on the day they select when registering. Each session is 2 hours.

Samuel Pickett
Samuel brings both passion and experience to the court, drawing from his time as a high school and club athlete along with his coaching roles at both the club and high school levels. He has served as head coach for the 15U Men’s team in 2023 and the 16U Men’s team in 2024 for Valor Volleyball Club, while also leading Valor’s developmental volleyball academy program. As an NCCP-certified Development Coach, Sam is committed to building strong technical foundations and fostering a love for the game in his athletes. Off the court, he is pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Alberta, with aspirations of transitioning into medicine. Balancing his academic journey with his passion for coaching, Sam continues to inspire athletes through his dedication, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the sport.
Players are required to bring clean indoor shoes. All other equipment is provided.
