Bowling Tournament - September 22
Saturday, September 22
The ESSC is excited to be once again partnering with Plaza Bowling Co. to bring you our next Bowling Tournament! Teams of 4 will come together in a social setting to compete for the Top Team and Top Individual scores. This is a Really Recreational event that’s all about fun, and Bowling can at times come second to enjoying the party. Plaza Bowling Co. is a licensed venue with multiple craft beers on tap and the tournament also features a beer tasting event during the day. You don't have to be an ESSC player to register and no experience is necessary; little to no experience is even preferred!
Location: Plaza Bowling Co. (10418 118 Avenue NW) - As a 3rd generation family owned business that started in 1959, Plaza Bowling Co. is an old school bowling alley with a few modern touches. They believe that bowling should be enjoyed with great people, good music and perhaps a tasty beverage in hand.
Theme: Berta Bros and Babes! Just out for a rip, are ya bud? Come dressed in your best Berta gear, including those Canadian tuxedos and trucker hats.
Cost: $180/team, $45/individual (shoe rental included)
Divisions: Really Recreational. This event is all about fun!
Schedule & Times: The tournament schedule will be posted at the facility the morning of the event. Official times will be sent to you no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, September 20, but all players should expect to start as early as 10:00am and to end no later than 6:00pm.
Format: 5 pin bowling in a cross-lane format. Teams of 4, with each player being guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
Party & Extras: The party goes all day in this licensed venue, so stick around in between games and enjoy the music, party games, and drinks! Best costumes and other prizes will be given out throughout the day, with the Top Team Score and Top Individual Score awards being handed out at the end of the tournament!
Alcohol Policy: There will be zero tolerance for outside alcohol and any individuals caught with their own liquor will be ejected from the tournament without a refund. Players must also be in control of their actions and alcohol intake. Although we want all players to enjoy themselves, you should be prepared to keep yourselves in check and avoid over-consumption. Any issues with the above could also affect your placement in future ESSC tournaments/leagues. As always, please do not drink and drive. Notify an ESSC staff member if you need help arranging a cab to pick you up at the end of the day.
Cancellation Policy: Please contact the ESSC office no later than Friday the week before the event to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be given after this point.
