Volleyball-Indoor - Legends

As both a longtime player and longtime employee of the Sport & Social Club, I am a huge advocate of our Legends Leagues. My advocacy is founded on the primary belief that as you age, you change. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just part of life… your priorities change and your time becomes even more precious than it used to be. It’s hard to find time to stay active and social as your life is full with family, work, your home, your yard, your dog, chiro, massage, acupuncture, etc. and staying out to all hours of the night (or anytime past 10:00pm) just isn’t feasible anymore! I get it.

Here at the Sport & Social Club, we like to keep our finger on the pulse when it comes to equipment upgrades and improvements to ensure our players are using the best-of-the-best! The newest addition for 2019 is the integration of the Molten Indoor Volleyball. Here’s a quick description of the three balls now in circulation:

We strongly believe that staying involved in sport even as you age is one of the best things you can do. Over our previous articles we have explored the ideas behind the Legends leagues and even heard some testimonials from our players. In this article, we are going to explore the individual benefits to the Legends league and why you should consider it, if you haven’t already.

We’re proud to host 4 different divisions of Volleyball to cater to all levels of players. With those divisions, come different divisional rules, which can get a little confusing to players both new and old.

What is a Net Violation?

Touching the net with any part of the body while the ball is in play is a net violation.

One of the most common misconceptions people have about our ‘Sports League’ is that they are out of luck if they can’t register with a full team - that’s not true at all! Here at the Club we are happy to offer an opportunity to register as an Individual (Indy) and the Club does the heavy lifting of assembling a team for you.
