Indoor Volleyball Offerings

Standard 6's

This is the ESSC's long-running indoor format, where games are played using a co-ed 6's format, with a minimum of two females on the court.


Offerings: 

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday


Facilities:

All games will be played at citywide gymnasiums

Recreational, Recreational Plus, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus

Womens 6's

Enjoy the standard indoor volleyball format, but with all female players. One big difference to note about this league? It will feature a net height set to Women's height instead of the Co-Ed setup at Men's height.

Masters

An opportunity for 40+ year old players to come together and enjoy a league that's catered to them! Games are played using a co-ed 6's format, with a minimum of two females on the court.

Tournaments

The ESSC typically hosts four Indoor Volleyball Tournaments each year, as well as one Battle of Alberta Tournament in Red Deer, AB. All teams are co-ed, 6 vs. 6, with a minimum of two females on the court.

Facilities:

Local - Feb 25: Queen Elizabeth High School - 9425 132 Ave - and McNally High School - 8440 105 Ave NW. Players will not be required to drive between the two locations.

Battle of Alberta: Hunting Hills High School - 150 Lockwood Ave - and Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School - 4204 58 St - in Red Deer, AB. Players will not be required to drive between the two locations.

Local - May 6: Saville Community Sports Centre - 6501 115 St - and at least 1 other facility (TBA). Players will not be required to drive between the two locations.

Format:

All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games.
